WEST AFRICAN STUDENTS UNION PARLIAMENT (WASUP) HONOURS HON. PRINCE ABDULHAKEEM OLAOYE WITH AWARD OF PAN-AFRICA EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP HONOUR

The West Africa Students Union Parliament has awarded Hon Prince Abdulhakeem Olaoye Otaoroju with the award of Pan-Africa Exemplary Leadership Honour.

The Country Rep of WASUP from Federal University of Technology, Minna, Hon. Oyebanjo Ismail Adewale said that West African students union Parliament is an umbrella body for Students Unions in West Africa with core objectives of encouraging corporation and harmonious coexistence among member states students.

It’s purpose is to see to students exchange programs that will enhance and transform good leadership of west Africa ensuring conformity with national challenges facing leadership ethics and democracy in this 21st century through various medium such as organizing leadership conferences, seminars, workshops and campaign against social vices.

Auston Kosei, the majority leader/head university Decocodi with Muhammed Ibrahim King – Dir. Logistic Enugu state university also noted that WASUP is a 16 registered member countries of the West African Students Union Parliaments and that they are conferring honor on a Man of honor, an intellectual juggernaut, a technocrat with magnificent experience when it comes Leadership and service to humanity.

The duo also described the awardee as a seasoned administrator/manager, a progressive advocate, a social crusader and an astute philanthropist whose personality exemplifies a rare gem and an outstanding Nigerian of impeccable credentials.

Hon. Abdulhakeem Olaoye Otaoroju in his response appreciated their gesture for honoring him with award and promised to support them in all their activities and mobilize them within his own capacity.
