BDO URGES PRAYERS, PIETY AND SUPPLICATIONS DURING THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN.

As the annual Ramadan Fast begins, Arc. Babatunde Desmond Ojo who represents Oriade State Constituency at the State of Osun House of Assembly has felicitated with all Islamic faithfuls across Oriade and the State of Osun.

The Chairman of the House Committee on Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development in a statement issued in Osogbo enjoins the Muslim Ummah to show love, care, and consecration during this year’s fast.

He noted that “the holy month of Ramadan which was ordained by Almighty Allah (SWT) as one of the five pillars of Islam should be spent as a season for prayers, piety, patience, sacrifice, selflessness and supplications”.

“I urge us all to be closer to God than before during and after the Ramadan fast even as I kindly request that we pray for the continued peace and prosperity of Oriade, the State of Osun and Nigeria as a whole”, the lawmaker concluded.

I pray the Almighty Allah accept our fast and supplications as an act of Ibadah!

Ramadan Mubarak.
