LEADERSHIP WITH MOTIVATIONAL CAPACITY TO MOVE ADEYEMI FORWARD.

It was the last quarter meeting of the governing council of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo. The Chairperson of the governing council, Hon. Idia Oluyemisi Babalola and her council members openly displayed their strong determination to move the institution forward .

As usual, it was a week schedule, full of planned activities aimed at promoting the continued development of the premier institution to enable her retain her position as the foremost training ground for future academic leaders..

Top of the activities was inspection of all the ongoing projects in the institution where the chairperson took her time to interact with the projects manager and the end users (students and lecturers) of each of the site visited.

The exercise afforded the Chairperson and her ccouncil members to make on – the-spot confirmation of the progress attained on the projects.

Also, the chairperson, in an uncommon display of her motivational leadership for all trait, took time to attend the first ever female leadership summit organised by the Students Union Government of the institution the office of the Vice where the chairperson spoke on female leadership and and encouraged the participants and audience to be strongly determined to take up any role that may be assigned to them at any leadership level. The union, through the Vice President Miss Ismail Zaynab applauded the chairperson for finding time to identify with them and appreciated her words of encouragement. She was later presented with a merit award.

The 3rd quarter meeting of the council was rounded up with main council meeting with all the council members and the provost, Dr. Samuel Akintunde .in attendance.
