Grand Mufti Proposes A Farm Village As He Commissions A New Project

The Grand Mufti of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan yesterday commissioned a New Project for Islamic advancement and intellectual development of Muslims.

The project, Imaarat Centre For Research and Human Development which harbors the New office for the Grand Mufti was commissioned by the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Nurudeen, ably represented by the Commissioner for Youth Affairs in the State.

While speaking at the event which had dignitaries from within and outside the state in attendance, the Grand Mufti unveiled his proposed Farm Village to produce a balanced and complete Muslim whom the Ummah need for better transformation of Islam in Yorubaland.

The farm village, according to the Grand Mufti, is part of his economic plans to solve the problem of poverty among the Muslims and to create job opportunities. ” It is going to be a big farm, and whoever is willing to invest or contribute to this project will be welcome so far our goal(for Islamic development ) is the same” he concluded.
