The Grand Mufti of Yorubaland, Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan, has distributed 200 cows and several rams to various Muslim organizations and members of the community across the South West as part of preparations for the Eid celebration.
The livestock, which were donated by individuals, friends, and supporters of the Grand Mufti, were shared among Islamic groups, community leaders, and residents to ease the financial burden on Muslims and ensure that families celebrate the festival in joy and comfort.
While speaking, Sheikh clarified that the donors behind the humanitarian gesture have no affiliation with any politician, stressing that the initiative was purely aimed at supporting the Muslim community during the festive season.
He added that the distribution reflects the spirit of love, unity, and compassion encouraged in Islam, especially during Eid celebrations.
