𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐛𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐧𝐚.

Three notorious bandits, identified as Jonathan John, Oliver Magaji, and Bitrus Sawaba, have been arrested following a successful operation by the Nigeria Police Force, which foiled an attempted attack and planned kidnapping of children in the Kasuwan Magani area of Kaduna State.

On 5th January 2026, at about 2000 hours, the Kaduna State Police Command received credible intelligence indicating that suspected bandits were planning to attack and abduct motorists conveying children through the area. Upon receipt of this information, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Kasuwan Magani Division, promptly mobilised a team of police personnel and deployed them to the location.
