It has come to our notice that following our notification to the public on Osun APC governorship candidate Mr. Bola Oyebamiji’s plan to unveil what he called a Strategic Energy Agenda which we referred to as a corporate Agenda theft, he has decided to put it off afterwards.
General public will recall that the APC candidate presented his manifesto to the public on 1st May 2026. The manifesto tagged “PROSPER” contained neither Power generation nor Energy as a key item in the manifesto However, upon realizing that this vital Osun ADC agenda is gaining popular acceptance and commendations, he hurriedly put up a plan to unveil a program that was never part of his agenda.
While we recognize his decision to cancel his plan to “hatch the eggs that he didn’t lay”, we hereby advise Mr. Oyebamiji to settle down, critically review and prepare a supplementary manifesto that reflects a distinct vision for the future of the state rather than labouring to patch his A.I generated manifesto (PROSPER). This will will make him to look a bit serious and prepared.
Elections are won not merely by echoing popular proposals, but by demonstrating originality, competence, and a clear roadmap for governance.
At this critical moment, the people of Osun deserve a contest of ideas and not a candidate to engage in pilfering other’s idea. A supplementary manifesto would afford Mr. Bola Oyebamiji with an opportunity to articulate innovative solutions to the state’s economic, educational, healthcare, and infrastructural challenges if he’s genuinely concerned about Osun.
Ultimately, leadership is measured by the ability to inspire confidence through fresh thinking and credible plans. The electorate will be more persuaded by a comprehensive and visionary policy document than by attempts to repackage a program that is already associated with the ADC which is being consistently echoed by Rt. Hon. Najeem Salaam at every of point of our campaign activities.
Osun voters are looking for authenticity, clarity, and a genuine commitment to progress that will enhance sustainable developments of our state.
