Following his recent arrest and the court’s decision to deny him bail, Arewa Youth groups across the seven Northwestern states have intensified their demonstrations, issuing a stern ultimatum to the authorities.
โIn a significant escalation, Ibrahim Modibbo Sanusi, a prominent leader within the Arewa youth movement, has demanded El-Rufai’s immediate and unconditional release.
โ”Failure to release our leader will leave us with no choice but to organize a million-man march to the nation’s capital. We are prepared to occupy the streets of Abuja until justice is served,” Sanusi declared.
