The Oluomo of Ejigbo Kingdom, the right peg in a right hole.

It’s in no way a surprise that the people of Ejigbo are solidly behind Najeem Folasayo Salaam, loving him has become a way of life of the people of Ejigbo and he has never been found wanting anytime his people are around him to show him some love. No politician (dead or living ) has ever enjoyed this seemly relationship with the people of Ejigbo Local Government in the last two decades.
And the reason he enjoys this relationship is not far fetched ;the value he has for humanity as a philanthropist .
This relationship was demonstrated by the people of Ejigbo on hearing the news that President Mohammadu Buhari has appointed him as the Executive Director, Nigeria Communication Satellites ;the people trooped out in their numbers across the length and breadth of Ejigbo to celebrate his new appointment.
The Oluomo of Ejigbo Kingdom who doubles as the Asiwaju Ardeen of Ejigbo, Rt Hon Najeem Folasayo Salaam (PhD) while addressing the gathering on 23rd of December, 2019 made a promise that would further make life easy for his people. Dr. Najeem Folasayo Salaam has made it abundantly clear to his people that he will be giving out the first set of cars for “Ejigbo Taxi” to the transporters free of charge and the first day of operation shall be free ride for the residence which is inline with his plan to move Ejigbo to the next level as the Oluomo of Ejigbo Kingdom.
Just like he promised four days ago while addressing his people , he staged the redemption of his promise to his people ( the people of Ejigbo ) this morning at the palace of the Ogiyan of Ejigbo Kingdom,HRH Oba Omowonuola Oyeyode Oyesosin, where the NURTW officials were on ground to receive the kind gesture and every well meaning Ejigbo indigene. Dr Salaam gave out one bus and 4 cars to the NURTW for free as a starting point on his agenda to contribute his quota to make Ejigbo great. According to Oba Omowonuola who could not hide his happiness, confirmed Dr Salaam has helped him to remove one of the burdens on his heart, he remarked that Dr Salaam is the first politician in Ejigbo to execute such a project free of charge that others has been coming for such on business grounds.
Dr Salaam while addressing the congregation said giving out the bus and the four cars for “Ejigbo Taxi”is not about politics but his contribution to the “Ejigbo Project” as the Oluomo of the Land with a slight story of how taxi has been coming to Ejigbo and leaving in no distant time. He said people who brought taxi to Ejigbo in the past does that with business mind and debt servicing responsibility which has made them not to stay long if they couldn’t meet target but with the donation he is giving out today free of charge , that would make taxi service to stand as there are no debt servicing responsibility for the drivers that would be using it.
This kind gesture and many he had done in the past are what made him the people’s friend in Ejigbo Local Government. His choice as the Oluomo of Ejigbo Kingdom is nothing but a right peg in a right hole.
It’s on this ground I am once again congratulating you sir on your appointment by President Mohammadu Buhari as the Executive Director, Nigeria Telecommunication Satellite. I pray that the good Lord will guide and guard you as you take up this new challenge/opportunity to serve your Fatherland.
