PROF AKINTOLA ON IGBOS IN LAGOS

“Forget the courtesy sir. In fact, Lagos is long overdue for ‘Exclusion Bill’. The bill will exclude non-Yorubas living in Lagos from occupying any public post in Lagos State. Yes! It is currently being planned in one of the states in the US.

Kilode? A kii gba ni lalejo ni won gba yin lalejo ni? A fiyan je lemomu, otun ndu Seriki.

Enough is enough! How can the Igbo start claiming that Lagos is no man’s land? It is insolence and ingratitude of the highest order.

Besides, leaving your region to gang together in Lagos for political power is very suspicious and dangerous. It means they have hidden agenda. We are not safe.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking that I am a Lagosian. I am not. I am a bona fide Ile Ife indigene. But any existential threat to Lagos and the original Lagosians is a threat to all Yorubas and I want other Yorubas to realize this. Therefore my people, let the forthcoming election (11/3/2023) speak well for Yorubas in Lagos and other Yoruba speaking States.
