This was revealed in a statement and photos posted on the official X handle of the Lagos State Government on Monday.

The statement read, “Ramadan season: In a significant initiative aimed at supporting the Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan, the Lagos State Government, via its Ministry of Home Affairs, has commenced the widespread distribution of food packs across various State Ministries, Departments and Agencies.

“The gesture is designed to ensure that Muslim employees within the state’s public service have access to necessary sustenance as they observe this important period of fasting and reflection.

“By providing these food packs, the Lagos State Government reaffirms its commitment to inclusivity and support for the religious practices of its diverse population, fostering a spirit of mutual respect among its workforce.”
