Yesterday, Saturday 30th of December, 2023 marked the end of the year program of the Omoluabi Progressive.
The event which was held at the country home of the former Governor of the State of Osun and immediate past Interior Minister, OGBENI RAUF AREGBESOLA , CON, in Ilesha was a gathering of prominent political figures and stakeholders from the progressive family. The event was attended by notable personalities such as the Former Governor of Osun State and immediate past Interior Minister himself, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the former Speaker of the State of Osun House of Assembly and Executive Director of Business and Marketing Development at NigComSat Limited, Rt. Hon. Najeem Folasayo Salaam, Ph.D.
The day began with a courtesy visit by Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and the stakeholders to the Ataoja of Osogbo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, at his palace. During the visit, the former Governor emphasized the significance of Osogbo as a stronghold of progressive politics and policies in the State of Omoluabi (Osun).
Following the visit to the Ataoja’s Palace, the group proceeded to the country home of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola in Ilesha to celebrate the end of the year program. The event was attended by several notable individuals, including the former Secretary to the State Government of Osun, Alh. Adeoti Moshood Olalekan, the former Party Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Osun State, Hon. Adelowo Adebiyi, and Barrister Gbenga Akano, among others.
The gathering provided an opportunity for the progressive family to come together and reflect on the achievements and challenges of the past year. It also served as a platform for networking, fostering unity, and strategizing for the future. The event was filled with camaraderie, discussions on political issues, and a shared commitment to the progress and development of the State of Omoluabi (Osun).
