I entered into coalition in the best interest of the 128,000 electorates that voted for me. I’m aware that educated masses and civil servants contributed largely to the votes we gathered. The inconclusive election is just an avenue for us to integrate our plans in the agenda of whoever becomes the governor. We were fair in our dealings with APC and PDP. APC took time to digest and analyse our agenda after which they opted for MOU and coalition government that would ensure that SDP ideology reflects in the governance of the next government. Unfortunately PDP didn’t consider such deal needful.
We love Osun state and we are in for progress. We’ve gotten the assurance that there’ll be a reasonable change in the APC method of governace in Osun State and we hope strongly that they honour this pact. Until then, we urge our members and supporters in the concerned polling units to vote en masse for APC as a fulfilment of our own part of the agreement. –
