On February 14, 2025, the OluOmo of Ejigbo Land and former Speaker of Osun State, Rt Hon. (Chief) Najeem Folasayo Salaam , PhD, attended the 40th Anniversary celebration of the Old Students’ Association of Baptist High School, Iree, Osun State. The event, held on the school premises, was attended by distinguished alumni from various graduating classes.

During the celebration, Dr. Salaam was awarded an Award of Excellence by the alumni, recognizing his significant contributions to the school during his tenure as Speaker and his ongoing commitment to education in the state.
