COVID-19: Fadahunsi distributes Rice and nose covers to PDP members across the state of Osun.

Senator representing Osun East Senatorial district of Osun state and highest political office holder in Osun Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, has donated rice worth millions of naira to members of the party across the three Senatorial districts in the state to cushion the effect of the ongoing restriction of movement order by the state government.

Senator Fadahunsi while handing over the rice to leaders of the party at state level led by the state Chairman Hon Olasoji Adagunodo accompanied by the state publicity Secretary of the party Hon Sunday Bisi. He reminded them that the lockdown order is for the best interest of all as it was a measure to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the state.

Fadahunsi appealed to the leaders of the party, to identify the most vulnerable in the localities and ensure the food items got to them.

He then called on the people to strictly adhere to directives by the State Government on restriction of movement as the only known cure of the dreaded coronavirus for now, is to stay safe.

The Senator appreciates the love of God on people of Osun state, particularly on the people of Osun East Senatorial district and prayed that the COVID-19 pandemic, presently ravaging the world will soon come to an end.

He charged his Senatorial to remain calm, law-abiding and prayerful, while government take further steps to ensuring peace, security and good governance of the state.

Hon Adagunodo who expressed appreciation to the Senator Fadahunsi for the donation of the food item across wards in Osun state. They said the item would go a long way in cushioning the effects of the no movement order by the state government as part of measures to check the spread of COVID-19 in the state.

Furthermore, the Chairman appreciated all elected officers on the platform of PDP namely Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, Hon Wole Oke, Hon Ajilesoro Taofeek Abimbola, Hon Bamidele Salam, Hon Niran Akanfe Atidade, Hon Adewumi Adeyemi and Hon Kofoworola Babajide. He commended their efforts and prayed for their success in office.

He assured the Senator that the food item would be distributed to those they are meant for and urged him to remain a good ambassador to the Osun people.

Few weeks back, it could be recalled that the Senator shared cash ranging from #5,000 to #40,000 to leaders and officers of the party across the 10 local of Osun East Senatorial district.
