CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR OYETOLA’S GOVERNMENT

The State Women Leader of the Osun State All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaja Kudirat Fakokunde, has enjoined the women members of the party across the state to continue to act as a monumental pillar behind the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
Alhaja Fakokunde who spoke with TAIWAD NEWS at the state secretariat of the party in Osogbo today said, all the women members of the party should cultivate the habit of praying for the governor and his administration on daily basis.
The state party women leader hinted that it is the way the women pray for their children and husbands for breakthrough in their various endeavours that they should be praying for Oyetola and his team without ceasing.
She reminded the women politicians of the APC extraction in the state that it is when there is stability in government that its chief driver can be at peace to develop the state.
Mrs Fakokunde stated that the government needs their prayer now more than before the governorship election, adding that; “basically, every situation requires prayer in this world either for accomplishment or sustainability”.
The state women leader also congratulated the people of the state on the choice of Oyetola as the governor of the state as unfolding events have proved all the doubting Thomases wrong that he is a round peg in a round hole.
Fakokunde disclosed that the information at her disposal is a pointer to the fact that Governor Oyetola has recorded superlative performances within the past one year without making noise over his numerous achievements.
She also observed that being a prudent manager of public finances has enabled him to be paying full salaries to the state workers in line with his campaign promise.
Fakokunde identified the regular payment of salaries to the state civil and public servants despite paucity of fund in the state as a factor that has sealed the lips of the major opposition party in the state.
The state APC women leader also stated that it is the divine blessing the state is enjoying that successfully secured continuity administration for the people of the state during the last governorship election.
