𝙉𝙊 𝙀𝙈𝙋𝙏𝙔 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙈𝙄𝙎𝙀𝙎; 𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙈𝘼𝙉𝙄𝙁𝙀𝙎𝙏𝙊 𝙒𝙄𝙇𝙇 𝘽𝙀 𝘿𝙀𝙇𝙄𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙀𝘿‎.

‎The African Democratic Congress (ADC) presented to the good people of Osun State, a practical and people-centered agenda founded on the principles of good governance, accountability, inclusiveness and sustainable development.
‎
‎We reassure the citizens of Osun that our 10-Point Agenda is not merely a campaign document but a solemn commitment to improving the quality of life of every resident across the state. Our focus areas have been carefully and sincerely designed to address the immediate needs of our people while laying a solid foundation for long-term prosperity.
‎
‎Since the public presentation, we have been receiving commendations as well as concerns from different quarters about the realization of our action plans, we therefore wish to reiterate our commitments on the manifesto as follows:-
‎
‎- Workers’ Welfare:- We are committed to restoring dignity to the Osun workforce through prompt payment of salaries and pensions, improved working conditions, capacity development and policies that will enhance career progression.
‎
‎- Agricultural Development:- We are focused on making Osun to become the regional food hub by prioritizing agriculture as a key driver of economic growth and supporting farmers with modern inputs, mechanization, storage facilities and market access to enhance food security and promote Agripreneurship.
‎
‎- Security:- Our genuine commitment to security of life and property influenced our decision to produce a draft security policy for Osun. The policy will be executed through effective and well coordinated security strategies.
‎
‎- Education;-We shall invest in quality and accessible education through improved school infrastructure as initiated by the visionary government of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and ensure an all encompassing educational development agenda that will prepare our children for the opportunities of the future.
‎
‎- Urban Infrastructure Development and Power Generation:- Our power generation agenda is not a joke. The 2023 electricity act passed by the National Assembly provides the legal framework while we are unrelenting on the technical requirements as well. We are focused on strategic infrastructure renewal and sustainable urban renewal programme that will improve living standards across urban and rural communities.

‎- Healthcare We shall strengthen primary healthcare delivery, upgrade medical facilities, improve access to affordable healthcare services, recruit and support healthcare professionals and promote preventive healthcare programs throughout the state.
‎
‎- Women Development Recognizing the vital role of women in society, We will promote gender inclusion, support women-owned enterprises, expand access to finance and skills acquisition. Our revolving loan agenda is a commitment.
‎
‎- Youth Empowerment:- We have a precedent on meaningful youth empowerment and other social investment programmes. The government of our leader, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola laid a solid foundation for this and we are building on it. 20, 000 youths will be employed during our first 100 days in office. In addition, we are prepared to create opportunities for young people through entrepreneurship support, vocational training, technology and innovation programmes, sports development and sustainable employment initiatives that unlock their full potential.

‎- Tourism Development:- Osun’s rich cultural and historical heritage will be harnessed as a major economic asset. We shall develop tourism infrastructure and attract private-sector investment and position Osun as a premier tourism destination in Nigeria and beyond.

‎The ADC assures every citizen that these commitments will be pursued with sincerity, competence and a deep sense of responsibility. We believe that Osun possesses the human and natural resources necessary for greatness, and with visionary leadership and collective effort, we can build a state that is prosperous, secure, inclusive and globally competitive.

‎Together, we will create an Osun where workers are valued, farmers prosper, businesses grow, youths are empowered, women thrive, communities are secure and every citizen has the opportunity to succeed.
