Late Alhaja Maryam Yinyinola Asani Adabanija popularly known as ๐๐น๐ต๐ฎ๐ท๐ฎ ๐ฌ๐ถ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ป ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ was born in Ojo in Egbedore local government area of Osun state in the year 1944.
She is a princess from Olojo royal family and was married to Malam Aliyu Oladepo Adabanija.
She was a farmer/business woman when she was alive and as well a well known politician in Egbedore local government area of Osun state.
She was once a women leader during the fifth republic under All People’s Party (APP) which later changed to All Nigerians People’s Party (ANPP)
Alhaja Maryam Yinyinola was a mother per excellence and was well known in both social and political circles both in Egbedore local government area of Osun and Osun state at large. Although not educated but she was a fearless and upright woman throughout her lifetime.
This time in 2013,just exactly 11years ago,she passed away to the great beyond after brief illness. Since she left us,her vacuum has not yet been filled within the families,both in her family from Olojo royal family and her husband’s family because of her roles in bringing families together and harmonizing all members of the families with her openness,bravery and ability to say the truth on any matter without minding whose ox is gore.
We all the children and grand children she left behind are really feeling her absence in all our day to day activities because she was a mother in millions. I wonder if there could be anyone who would be able to fill her place in our lives.
I am the most hit among all the families by her demise because by the time she left,i never envisaged she could leave us soon because she was about to clock 70years of age when she died on 31st December 2013.
Although we have moved on with our lives but not the same again since she left us.
We have since found solace in the Almighty Allah who has decried that all living souls shall surely taste death.
Whenever i am facing with any challenges of life,i use to remember her words when she was alive that i should not rely on any mortal but,Almighty Allah alone who can do all things and her words have always being my guiding principles in my day to day activities in life.
