The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Kaduna state Chapter, has declared the activities of one Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha, Idris Musa and some other few people within their camp, parading themselves as leaders of the party in the state as illegal.

The party disclosed that the said people who are hell-bent in destroying the party in the state are being sponsored by the enemies of the party, who at all course want a one party system in the state.

” It is also important to alert the public that the said people are holding a structure in the name of ADC for the ruling APC in the state ahead of the 2027 general elections. This has been confirmed, and at the appropriate time, they will be exposed.

Reacting to the so-called resolutions released by these impostors after it’s illegal and unauthorized meeting on Wednesday, the ADC leadership strongly condemn the action, because it is a calculated attempt to defraud members of the party, as well as the members of the public.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Thursday, the Publicity Secretary of the party, Hon. Alex Tagwai disclosed that Elder Patrick Ambut remains the legitimate and recognized party Chairman in the state, while calling on Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha, Idris Musa and others to desist from their shameful entrepreneur politicking, aimed at destabilizing the party in favour of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

Our findings show that these set of individuals were being paid to destabilize the party and cause confusion, hence the need for security agencies to take note of the illegal activities of these people, as the party is now ready to take necessary steps to check and challenge their illegality.

The statement described them as impostors and detractors that do not deserve attention. “They are pathological liars and whoever relies on them would just be misled and misguided.”

Alex Tagwai as the Publicity Secretary of the party in the state. The party is warning one Joyce Sim Adamu Gambo to stop parading herself as the Women Leader of the party in the state.

In the statement, the ADC, Kaduna state chapter passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of Elder Patrick Ambut, being the recognized Chairman of the party by both the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the National Secretariat of the party, while these elements are moving around deceiving themselves, and by implication, also deceiving and misguiding vulnerable and innocent members of the public who are very much pro-ADC for the good of Nigeria.

On the subsisting Court Orders, ADC disclosed that no order affirmed or granted Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha the power to assume the leadership position of the party in Kaduna state, adding that the Ex-Parte Motion Notice which was obtained by these individuals did not direct him (Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha) to act as Chairman or ask him to carry out any activity on behalf of the party. So, anything contrary to this, is declared null and void.

The statement further disclosed that the Ex-Parte Motion Notice obtained by Tijjani and his co-travellers, restraining our able party Chairman was an order and not a judgement, which is temporary.

It will also interest the public to note that these individuals have been expelled from the party and they did not challenge their expulsion anywhere before going to get a restraining order against the Chairman and the Secretary which did not anywhere confined leadership on them.

The party appreciates the leadership of the National Secretariat for their support and advice on the affairs of the party in Kaduna state, while also appreciating the support of the members, chieftains of the party and members of the public, assuring them of better days ahead.
