Oyetola celebrates Chief Tunde Badmus at 74

State of Osun Governor, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola has congratulated Chief Khamis Tunde Badmus on the occasion of his 74th birthday anniversary, describing him as a national icon and worthy son of the State.

Oyetola in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, said he was delighted to join family members, friends, associates and wellwishers to felicitate the foremost businessman and philantropist on his birthday celebration.

He said, “Chief Tunde Badmus is a national figure and worthy son of the land, who has led a very impactful life. In spite of his affluence, Asiwaju has remained humble, accessible and accommodating. He’s a man with a large and generous heart.

“I am, therefore, very delighted to join his family members, friends, associates and wellwishers to felicitate with him on the occasion of his 74th birthday anniversary and thank God for his life.”

The governor lauded Chief Badmus for his service and outstanding contributions to the development of Osun, and specially appreciated him for being part of the State’s Food and Relief Committee that has provided relief materials for the vulnerable people across the State, who are adversely affected by the COVID-19 lockdown.

He added that the State would always be ready to benefit from his knowledge, wealth of experience and service.

“As the Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland celebrates his 74th birthday today, I pray to Almighty Allah to grant him many more years in good health, as he continues to serve our State, the country and humanity at large,” Oyetola said.
