- Canvasses Increased Mobilisation, Sensistisation Of Members For CVR
The National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, has reassured members of the party that the coalition is on course to rescue Nigeria from its current state.
Aregbesola, while addressing stakeholders of Omoluabi Progressives in Ilesa, on Sunday, reiterated that the ADC is the party to beat in the upcoming elections in Osun next year and the country in 2027.
He also urged them to work hard to boost the partyโs membership drive, as well as, galvanise the electorate to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
His words, โI want to assure you all that we are in the process of solidifying the leadership structure of our party at the national level. We are almost through. Once we complete that, we will move to the zones, states and other levels. We have done a lot of work and we can assure you that there is no cause for alarm.

โI also want you to ignore the naysayers. We should not be deterred at all. We are not bothered by what the detractors are saying because the people are with us.
โThe major thing for us to do as we progesss is to galvanise more people to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration. It is as important as the journey ahead. We are the team to beat, but we must not fold our arms to ensure that our aim to return true responsible leadership to our state (Osun) and country comes to fruition.
โWe are committed to restoring a People Friendly Government (PFG) that advances the growth of the society and makes life more abundant for our people,โ the immediate past Minister of Interior noted.
Earlier in his remark, Chairman, Omoluabi Progressives, Alhaji Azeez Adesiji, said the party is on ground in the state.
Adesiji reiterated the need for unity among members of the tendency, stressing that the ADC is gaining more momentum by the day.
He said, “I am glad that our party is now firmly on ground. We are now deeply rooted across the nooks and crannies of Osun State. Don’t be afraid, continue your mobilisation drive.
“I also want to thank our members for their continued solidarity and firm belief in our cause. By the grace of God, we will not let you down. Just ensure that you are united and carry everyone along.”
The meeting saw the admission of new members of the party from various local government areas of the state, alongside goodwill messages from various stakeholders.
A minute silence was also observed for members of the party, who departed in the last one month.
