Osun State, 2,/07/2025 — The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Osun State wishes to address recent statements from the All Progressives Congress (APC) regarding the dissatisfaction within our ranks concerning the ongoing coalition and the emergence of our esteemed leader, His Excellency Rauf Aregbesola.

Dr. Charles Omidiji, Chairman of the Osun State ADC, has categorically debunked these claims, labeling them as nothing more than a tactic employed by the APC out of fear and intimidation. “The recent statements are a strong signal that the Osun State APC is aware of the challenges ahead and is desperately attempting to mislead the public,” he stated. “However, these attempts will not succeed; our ADC members have been engaged and informed throughout the coalition process, and we stand united.”

Dr. Omidiji further emphasized the ADC’s commitment to the people of Osun State, stating, “We want the citizens to know that the ADC is preparing to take over governance in the upcoming 2026 gubernatorial election. Our party is growing in strength and support, as we continue to welcome thousands of APC members into our fold. In fact, we want to assure the public that not a single ADC member is defecting; rather, we are gaining momentum and support like never before.”
