YOUR TASK IS HERCULEAN — APC tells new Osun Cabinet
All Progressives Congress in the state of Osun has told members of the new cabinet, being sworn-in today that the challenge before them ‘is herculean’.
In a statement yesterday from the party’s Directorate of Publicity, Research and Strategy, signed by its Director, Kunle Oyatomi, the APC claimed that;
‘There are group of conscienceless people out there who have significant intruism into government infrastructure that will work to set the new cabinet up for failure.
‘These elements trade in fabricated, ‘alternative fact’; they sit around in coven, praying desperately that your government should not succeed.
‘They have the demons on their side, but you have God with you. Those who work with God and remain prayerful will always defeat the satanists no matter what.
‘As you take the oath to serve the people of Osun, recognise that whatever success you make of this ‘consolidation exercise’ will determine the shape and content of what development will look like, going forward.
‘You have been carefully selected to shoulder this epic responsibility of consolidating the unprecedented progress made in Osun over the last nine years.
‘But you must always remember that there are worshipers of the Moloch who will sacrifice anyone and anything to ensure that every development brought to Osun by the APC is destroyed.
‘They are shadowy creatures who live in denial and are so consumed by hate; their sense of appreciation of good work appears virtually dead.
‘However, your greatest insulation against these vicious adversaries is your integrity as loyal party men and women whose intention in government is service, not personal gains.
‘We therefore urge all of you to be excellent team players, focused on the goals of government to make Osun one of the most progressive states in Nigeria.
‘Be assured of the total support of our great party in the discharge of your duties. Our chairman, Prince Gboyega Famodun is at your service 24/7. All party men and supporters look up to you to help Gov. Gboyega Oyetola succeed.
‘May God grant you the wisdom and strength to do your best for your state and country. Congratulations.
