The number one online media group in the State of Osun, has rejoiced with the Senator representing the good people of Osun Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Sen. (Dr.) Ajibola Basiru on his appointment as the Chairman, Senate Committee of Media and Public Affairs.
The group in a statement described Senator Basiru appointment as round peg on a round hole. “We were delighted to hear the appointment of an illustrious son of our dear State to chair such an important Committee in the National Assembly. The giant strides of the new appointee so far in the Senate are strong indications that the people of Osun State, particularly Osun Central is been represented by one of her finess” – the group said.
Senator Ajibola Basiru, the newly appointed Chairman of Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs, is an erudite lawyer turned politician. He is well known for his outspokenness, doggedness, commitment and loyalty. Since his inauguration as a Senator of Federal Republic of Nigeria, he has been making waves and has impacted lives. No doubt therefore that he will make Osun proud in this new assignment. The group said in the statement.
