Senator Ajibola Basiru of Osun Central Senatorial District made the observation in a congratulatory message to Engineer Lekan Badmus on his inauguration as a member of Osun Executive Council.
Dr Basiru remarked that Engineer Lekan Badmus has been able to carve a niche for himself in education,business and now politics by scaling hurdles which nobility has placed in some people’s path to greatness.
“Lekan has everything one call comfort giving his noble birth,but he has not allowed that to go into his head as to flounder in his strive and walk to success.”
“He identifies with everybody regardless of their class in society. This coupled with his simplicity drew him to me,and I have enjoyed his company.”
Felicitating with Engineer Lekan Rahman Badmus on this political elevation,Senator Ajibola Basiru urged him not to disappoint his Community, Osogbo and the Local Chapter of the All Progressives Congress.
Chairman, Senate Committee on the Diaspora proded Lekan not to rest on his laurels in a bid to justify the confidence people have reposed in him as their choice for the exalted position. He advised him to build stronger ties with party elders to drink from their spring of knowledge.
Senator Ajibola Basiru also felicitated with Engineer Sola Oladepo and Hon Rasak Adeosun on their inauguration as well.
He prayed Allaah to grant the new Osun Exco members wisdom and sound health to deliver in their novel and unprecedented assignment.
