Pioneered the first alternative bond (Sukuk) for Infrastructure development in Nigeria.

Bola Ige Mechatronics Institute (BIMI) – The first Mechatronics Institute of its kind in Nigeria. BIMI provides expert training for developing private sector competence in auto diagnostics and repair, facilitate a modern hi-tech environment to train the trainers, provide theoretical and practical setting for retaining local auto mechanics and serves as a test bed for raising auto remediation entrepreneurs. Established in Esa Oke, Osun, The institute was set up in collaboration with the National Automotive Design and Development Council with a one billion naira (N1b) facility from the Bank of Industry (BOI). In terms of capacity development, the state facilitated 3-month training of train-the-trainers of 31 youths, including 1 female, from across the state in Germany by Lucas Nulle. The institute has trained hundreds of auto technicians and is involved in the federal Government’s social investment programme called NPower Build.
Most of the Osun innovative Social Protection Programmes have served as template for similar programmes at the federal level.
