PROGRESSIVES e- GROUP HAS NEVER BEEN TAGGED AS AN ENEMY OF THE GOVERNMENT – CPS Ismail Omipidan.

The Chief Press Secretary to Osun State Governor, Mr Ismail Omipidan has declared that he has not for once considered the reigning and number one online media team in Osun, Progressives e-Group as either an enemy of his Boss, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola or his Government.

The Chief Press Secretary stated this during a courtesy visit of the new executives of Progressives e-Group to his office at Osun State Government Secretariat, Abeere, Osun State.

The newly sworn in executives was at the CPS Office to inform him officially of change of leadership in the group after a peaceful election and as well as to register their undiluted support to the Government of APC in the State led by Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

The Coordinator of the group, Hon. Taoheed Ademola Omo-Omi after introduction of executives with their portfolios told the CPS that the group have been and will continue to support and defend the good governance under Governor Gboyega Oyetola because it is in line with the core mandate of the group.

“Our principal objective is to support, promote and defend good governance of progressives within and outside Osun State. So far it is crystal clear that the government of Governor Gboyega Oyetola is making us proud through his consolidation policies and programmes, our support is total and non negotiable” Omo-Omi declared.

The Coordinator also emphasised that Progressives e-Group is an independent entity and that the group total support to Governor Gboyega Oyetola is not about handing the group to him but to the Party which our Grand Patron, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola cherished so much.

While responding, the CPS said the meeting gives him joy and he is deeply happy that his thought that Progressives e-Group is for his Boss is real.

“I have not in any time considered you an enemy of this Government, No! I always have the faith that things will normalise itself even at the peak of some circumstances” CPS stated.

Mr. Omipidan said the youths need sustainability of the party than our leaders and that all hands must be on deck to protect it if we don’t want those hungry Party from the other side to snatch it. He aknowledged the performances of the Progressives e-Group and urged the group to keep the momentum going.

The Secretary of the group, Mr. Abiodun Collins appreciated the CPS for his belief in the group and assured him also of total support of the group all the times.
