Oyetola condoles with Adejare Bello over mother’s death

Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun, on Thursday, condoled with former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello, over the death of his mother, Mrs. Monilola Bello.

The late Iya Ijo CAC 7, Ede, 85, died on Wednesday evening.

She is survived by three children. Prominent among the children is Rt. Hon. Adejare Bello.

The governor, described her death as a great loss to the state, the entire family and the Christian community in Ede.

Oyetola, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, noted that the late Mrs. Bello was as a devout Christian, married to another devout Muslim, the late Alhaji Olatoyemu Bello.

He added that both of them devoted their lives to productive ventures and showed their children the path to success.

The governor further said “I received with great shock the passing of your mother, the late Mrs. Bello, who died yesterday. Although she was an old woman, the death of a beloved one is usually devastating no matter how old the person may be.

“We should however be consoled by the fact that Mama lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation.

“The good Lord will comfort you, your other siblings and the Christian community in Ede in particular and our dear state in general.

“Her death is no doubt a heavy loss to the family and the entire Christian community.

“My deep condolences go to the entire family as well as the Christian community in Ede. I pray God grant her eternal rest and I pray God to give you, your siblings and the entire Christian community in Ede the capacity and fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss,” Oyetola added.
