Nigerian Army reportedly intercepts 6 armoured vehicles in Adamawa

Soldiers attached to the Nigerian Army 23 armoured brigade in Yola, Adamawa state, intercept six mine resistance vehicles

Military sources say the ownership of the intercepted vehicles has not yet been verified by the army

The vehicles have been handed over to the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) pending investigation into the discovery of the Six mine resistance vehicles that seem to have been transported into Nigeria without due process and have been intercepted by Nigerian soldiers manning a checkpoint in Adamawa state.

Premium Times reports that vehicles were seized by soldiers attached to the Nigerian Army 23 armoured brigade in Yola.

Military sources told Premium Times that the ownership of the vehicles which were shipped into the country could not be verified by the army.

The equipment have been handed over to the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) pending investigation into the discovery. The ownership of the vehicles is yet to be ascertained:
