I am still In the Race, ignore any misleading rumor that I stepped down. – ‘Remi Odewale
Honourable Remi Odewale’s attention has been drawn to a rumour that he has withdrew his intention to run for the office of the Chairman, Ife South Local Government.
According to Frantz Ganon “Every generation out of relative obscurity discover its mission either to fulfill it or betray it”
Remi Odewale has chosen to fulfill the mission.
This was in a statement released by his spokesman Prince Adedoyin Ologbenla on Wednesday debunking the rumour which claimed he has step aside for his main opponent as rumoured.
He described the news making round the town that Remi Odewale stepped down his aspiration to become the next Chairman of Ife South Local government in the state of Osun as ‘untrue and cooked story’.
He further described the rumour as fake news, ascribing it to the handwork of his main opponent who is afraid of his rising profile and acceptability.
This news is of course coming from the opponent who already is afraid of Remi Odewale personality and momentum and have come up with this fake news to confuse our convinced supporters. He frowned at the way the politicking is being handled especially for bringing up such rumour and further described such act as a display of fear of his acceptance within the community at large.
He then urged the General public, teeming supporters and most especially members of our great party member to disregard this latest antics.
Lastly, we really acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of all concerned lovers who placed calls to confirm the rumors and input their own contributions into the #ItesiwajuIfeSouth AGENDA, we will never let you down. We seal our ink and beseech the future leaders “from when shall the blaze come to help blow off these ashes and make our charcoal glow again? Until our Good is better, we shall never Rest.
