The immediate past minister of interior Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has explained how he started his political journey and gave thank to the almighty Allah for the success recorded and also to the current president of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former president Muhammadu Buhari who God has used to elevated him to the political height he attained so far. He stated this at Oyo Alaafin yesterday during the civic reception organized in his honor by the league of Immams and ALFAS across South West Nigeria He said he would not have attained the position if not for God and these two eminent personalities. He thank the Concerned Muslim Scholars and Clerics in South Western Nigeria for hosting a civic reception in my honour in Oyo, Oyo State. I appreciate the many Scholars, Clerics and Muslim leaders who showered encomiums on me for being a ‘Pride to Islam’.
The success of our political journey and the achievements being celebrated by all and sundry today is due to the impact and confidence reposed in me by President Bola Tinubu and former President Muhammadu Buhari. To them, I will always be greatful!
