HON. MRS ADEOYE SAKIRAT ADEDAYO EMBARKS ON HUMANITARIAN SERVICES ; PAID WAEC FEES FOR 4 STUDENTS AND DISTRIBUTES EXERCISE BOOKS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN OBA-ILE.

Hon. Mrs Adeoye Sakirat Adedayo is a grassroot politician as honorable councillor representing ward 9A of Oba-ile. Being a philanthropist who took after her father Alhaji Tiamiyu Adeoye who was known to be a free giver during his life time felt it is good and important to give back to the society that made her.

She took it upon herself and paid WAEC fees for 4 students of Aderounmu Middle and High school,Oba-ile and printed 1000 exercise books for distribution to pupils at St. John’s elementary school and Ansarudeen elementary schools respectively in Oba- ile

The school principal represented by the vice principal while addressing the gathering acknowledged that such a loudable scholarship program has never happened in the history of the community before. He thereafter advised the students who were the beneficiary to study very hard.

Secretary to the Local Government, Engr. Omigbodun,representing the Executive Chairman of Olorunda North LCDA at the occasion congratulated the recipient and pass a vote of confidence on Hon. Sakirat Adeoye and advised the teachers not to relent on their effort to better the life of the children .

Parents of the students who were beneficiaries couldn’t hide their joy as it was exhibited in their prayers for Hon. Adeoye Sakirat The names of the students who are beneficiaries are;

  1. Adeniji sherif
  2. Rabiu Ganiyat
  3. Omotosho Femi
  4. Adediran Taye

Along with Hon. Adeoye Sakirat are Party leaders namely ;Alh Aminu Bolarinwa local government party chairman. Alh Jimoh Owotutu ward chairman, Youth leader Hon. Tajudeen Hammed, Women leader- Grace Adeyemi among others.
