Governor Oyetola presents 2021 Budget,tags it budget of Providence.

Governor Oyetola has presented the 2021 budget estimate of 109.8 billion naira to the State House of Assembly.
The 2021 fiscal year budget which was tagged “Budget of Providence” according Gov Oyetola is dedicated to post COVID-19 pandemic recovery.
The budget which shows the education and health sector having the highest share with youth empowerment given prominence is expected to be funded by the federal allocation, Internally generated revenue, aids and grant and from Other Capital Receipt.
The Speaker of the State of Osun House of Assembly, Rt Hon Timothy Owoeye had earlier in his speech commended the executive for making the 2020 budget lived up to expectations despite being faced with the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The Speaker urged the executive to increase ease of doing business and remove bottlenecks that could scare investors away from the State.
Rt Hon Owoeye said the State House of Assembly would make effective oversights a priority to ensure timely completion of government projects in the State.
Also Speaking, the Chairman, House Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Mr. Taiwo Olodo eulogised Gov Oyetola for his proactiveness in making life better for the people of the state after covid19. He however give an assurance that the budget would be given speedy consideration and passage.
