Gov. Oyetola congratulates Akirun on 30th coronation anniversary
Governor Adegboyega Oyetola of the State of Osun has congratulated the Akirun of Ikirun Land, Oba AbdulRauf Olawale Adedeji II, on the occasion of his 30th anniversary of ascension to the throne.
Oyetola in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, lauded the sterling leadership of the traditional ruler, which he said has facilitated more progress and development to Ikirun land.
The governor also commended the monarch for his concern and dedication to the welfare of his people, and his support for government’s policies and programmes.
He said: “On behalf of my family, government and the good people of Osun, I join family, friends, associates and sons and daughters of Ikirun Land to felicitate Akirun, Oba AbdulRauf Olawale Adedeji II, as he marks his 30th anniversary on the throne.
“I commend his concern and dedication to the welfare of his subjects and the development of Ikirun Land. I also appreciate his support for our administration’s policies and programmes.
“It is my prayer that Almighty Allah grant him long life, sound health and more wisdom as he continues to serve the people of Ikirun Land and provide more support and contributions for the development of Osun.”
