Badamasi Taofeek Leads Osun Assembly Committee To Ilupeju, Visits Affected Area
Following the peaceful protest by the people of Ilupeju, Ori-Oke Pure water, Abe Cocoa and Omigade communities of Osogbo Local Government Area to the State of Osun House Assembly Complex yesterday on the deplorable condition of motorable and linkage channels in their communities.
The house set up a committee to oversight and inspect the level of damage and the deplorable state of all the roads in the area.
The committee is chaired by Hon. Taofeek Olatunde Badamasi of Osogbo state constituency with his counterpart from Olorunda, Odo-otin, Oriade and Ifé South constituency.
Hon. Badamasi Olatunde Taofeek who spoke on behalf of the committee promised to take a drastic step by briefing the house and involve the house committee on works, Ministry of works, Ministry of Environment, CSDP, and all the developing partners to report to Governor Gboyega Oyetola for speedy action to provide succour to the residents of the area.
Badamasi also hinted that as promised by the Speaker of the Assembly, Hon Timothy Owoeye, the project will get adequate attention in the 2020 Budget.
