Joshua Beckford named as one of the smartest kids on the planet is coming to Lagos, Nigeria. The genius plans to raise fund and build a school in Kaduna state.

At six, Beckford emerged the youngest person to be accepted to Oxford University. He studied philosophy and history and graduated with distinction.

Interestingly, Joshua Beckford was diagnosed with autism at a tender age, but grew up to become one of the world’s smartest boys. Beckford was officially named one of the most intelligent children in the world after he graduated from the prestigious Oxford University at age 14.

The young genius is expected to visit Nigeria where he is to raise fund for a school project in Kaduna state. The news was shared by chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

She tweeted.

“This is Joshua, who became the youngest to study in Oxford University at age 6 and graduated age 14 from the department of History and Philosophy.

“He will be in Lagos for the fundraising of his school building project in Kaduna. He is regarded as one of the world’s smartest human.”

Despite being diagnosed with high functioning autism, Beckford was reported to be an early starter in life. As a 10 months old baby he could read, write and understand the alphabet. At two, he could read fluently and by the time he clocked three, Beckford could speak Japanese.

At age six when most kids are still learning to read, write and count, Beckford was intellectually ready to attend one of the best universities in the world, Oxford University.

His father Knox Daniel, said he first noticed his son was clever when he was sitting on his lap while on the computer.

“I started telling him what the letters on the keyboard were and I realized that he was remembering and could understand.”

In 2011, his father wanted to challenge his son, so he wrote to the university to see if he could participate in a philosophy course for bright children between the age of eight and thirteen.

They agreed, and Joshua was the youngest student ever accepted. Surprisingly, he passed with distinction.

Joshua excels at science, math, history, foreign languages and history. He dreams of becoming a neurosurgeon and is well on his way by practicing gall bladder removals and appendectomy procedures.

“Since the age of four, I was on my dad’s laptop and it had a body simulator where I would pull out organs. I want to save the earth.

“I want to change the world and change people’s ideas to doing the right things about earth”; he was quoted as saying.

However, the date of Beckford’s visit to Nigeria for the proposed fundraising has not been announced at the time of this report.
