The member House of Assembly elect in Egbedore state constituency in Ọsun, Hon Rotimi Ogunrinade set to empower thousand of constituent members through skill acquisition program

According to a statement signed by the lawmaker-elect and made available to Newsmen in Awo by the Rotimi Ogunrinade Media Office, the beneficiaries will be trained in indigenous fabric production (Tie and Dye), Shoe making, barbing, cake making and decoration, photography, bead making, hair dressing, fashion designing amongst other sought-after skills.

The training is aimed at enhancing productivity among youths and the general populace of the Constituency.

He noted that youth unemployment remained one of the greatest challenges of the society and there was a need to tackle it through skill acquisition.

The lawmaker-elect also gave assurance that the empowerment and skills acquisition training would be a continuous exercise throughout his tenure, considering the need to touch the lives of as many of his constituents as possible.

He said the equipment to be distributed to the beneficiaries would enable them to create employment and be self-reliant.

He therefore implores all intending beneficiaries to be committed to the good course as recommendation from their trainer will play a vital role in the final selection process
